Thank you for signing up to the Gymea Bay Cricket Club Summer Academy.
All players will be expected to attend all sessions. If a session is abandoned due to weather, a make-up session will be done after the regular program is set to finish.
Players are expected to bring:
Each session starts at 4.00pm and finishes at 6.00pm. The sessions will be held on the following dates:
Your head coach will be Brendon Piggot. Brendon is a current Green Shield head coach. His experience and approach to coaching will ensure all players will get the most out of the program. Brendon will be working with other Cricket Appeal head coaches each week. Parents are asked to drop players off and not hang around. Players need to own for their games from a young age. It creates a much better environment when it’s on the player to perform not the parent. If there is a cancellation you will be notified on the morning of the session by email. We look forward to seeing you all at the commencement of the program.

Players to bring own equipment. The program will include fitness testing with S&C coach, fielding techniques, batting setups(grips/stance), bowling actions, drills, nets sessions, game scenarios to build each players confidence.
